Rescue History
The Rescue story begins in the early 20th century with Edward Bach in London. Bach was convinced that attitude and mental state play a fundamental role in maintaining health. He was one of the first to recognize the importance of mental / emotional health for physical well-being. From that moment on, Bach devoted his life to investigating this connection and exploring ways to help people. During the early 1930s, his studies on the importance of emotional health led him to study 38 different flower and plant essences. The same essences that are still used in current Bach and Rescue products.
